I was wondering if anyone else has experienced some of their makerworld points “disappearing”?
I know before Christmas I had over 4,000 points (I remember noticing when I passed the landmark 4k figure), however checking now after Christmas I have less than 4,000.
Nothing shows in my point history/transactions showing a deduction, and I received no notification that I’ve been penalised/docked any points for rule breaking. I’m unsure of the exact number of points that have “disappeared” (I think about 500) and can’t work out/spot any obvious reason (e.g. losing the points from a specific model for example)
Not a major issue at the end of the day - just strange for it to happen with no notification. If I have been docked for rule breaking I’d just like to know so I can avoid repeating in future!

All the point transactions are recorded and I haven’t noticed any shenenigans. Even point deductions for rule violations are recorded as point transaction and you can work the math yourself. Around 500 points is the amount for $/€ 40 giftcard, so maybe check that one?
Also - no point in hoarding points, the most expensive item in points shop is afaik Maker’s Essential Kit A and that’s around 1.2k points. I’d instead hoard giftcards, that way there’s far clearer picture of what changed point-wise

Well maybe hes saving for a printer?
Redeem all the gift cards though, as there is a redemption review and a weekly limit (at least there was, idk about it now that there’s a review) it’s hard to withdraw a large quantity of cards at once. I have been redeeming all mine asap so I’m ready to buy the new printer at launch.
I’m not sure about disappearing points though, that’s really weird.

create a support ticket…they will help you out.
its either a glitch which i doubt, or its a point deduction which sometimes it takes a while to update in the transaction history.
