Why has this not been fixed yet. The displays status info is totally different than what is actually happening in the printer. You would think something this simple would be fixed MONTHS AGO!!
I had this going on. It started when I did a firmware upgrade and had y axis homing trouble. I could revert back and it seemed to be ok as far as the homing.
I upgraded again along with a full calibration and I still had the homing trouble at times. The display prompts were off. I down graded the firmware again and the prompts were still wrong.
So I did factory reset, full calibration. Ran a couple prints and shut down. Turned it back on and updated to the latest firmware, full calibration and the prompts were now correct and I’ve run the machine for a couple weeks not with zero homing troubles.
You would think something this simple would be easy to describe in more detail.
I haven’t noticed any discrepancy between my H2C’s display and what Studio says the printer is doing…
Display says
Leveling bed while nozzle calibration is happening
Nozzle calibration while vibration is happening
Just about everything the display says is happening at the beginning of the print is not what is actually happening. Pick which ever starting process you want and the display says it’s doing something else. This has been happening since the studio update 2 months ago. I’m going to try and do a factory reset now.
Huh. Mine most definitely doesn’t do that. Not that I’m looking every time. But I have looked a few times at least and the display said the same as Studio each time.
My H2C has the same problem, at the begining of every printing there is no relationship between what the printer is doing and what the diplay says.
I use studio 2.5 because 2.6 is buggy with H2C, display is consistent with 2.5 but when I tried 2.6, it messed things up. I think it might just be your studio version.
must be. factory reset and re calibration did NOT fix the issue.
looking through the github they are saying its a printer issue. Firmware…. Considering there havent been any new firmware updates since the H series dropped you would think maybe they could fix some issues before releasing new printers.
Mine did that on the previous public release. I didn’t do Beta. H2D. Once we got the latest firmware it went back to being in sync. There was a small firmware update if I remember correctly when it started sometime in February/March.
I’ve noticed it only once.
When I first got the printer it was deffo ok when printing filaments that didn’t need a heated chamber.
But the other day I was looking while printing ASA and what it was doing was deffo out of sync with the screen.
I was left wondering if it’s only happening when the chamber needs heating.
This is a bug in the newer versions of Bambu Studio 2.5.3 - 2.6.1. In 2.5.2 and earlier, everything was displayed correctly. The issue isn’t with the printer, but with the slicer, which generates incorrect statuses commands in the G-code.
