Well, lucky me, I’m an old school tinkerer so i don’t mind repairing and getting my hands dirty… i usually don’t rely on anyone for support or repairs, but still need to get the spare/replacement parts from someone. But not everyone likes to tinker. Bambu is targeting with its machines consumers who are most of the time first timers in 3d printing, and specifically those that want a 3d printer to simply work and deliver right out the box. Not all these users are tinkerers… actually, i would venture a guess and say that about 1/3 of Bambu’s users have had some previous background in 3d printing prior to acquiring a Bambu machine. The remaining 2/3 are first timers, without any prior 3d printing experience, without any previous tinkering/repairing experience…To keep its customer base and further increase it, Bambu had to provide customer support, even if when such support wasn’t required under various countries’ consumer protection laws requirements. Which is why i said earlier that comparing business clients with home user clients it’s like comparing apples with oranges… But I suppose you’ve got the meaning of what I was saying.
