Hi, i bought a roll of support for pla/petg which was quite expensive and at times it doesn’t work so well. Some prints im trying to get the cleanest overhangs under the supports without the scarring. Is there a major difference between the 2? Like is it worth me getting a spool of the aupport for pla only or they’re more or less the same?

Hi, I’ve found that using PLA to support PETG or vice versa works pretty well, and are a lot cheaper than the specialized support materials.
Seconding this. Support interface only, a single layer, not entire support system need different bed temperatures. Use pla for petg and vice versa. You must do a MAXIMUM purge when changing as the slightest contamination will. Make the print very weak
