One of my 7 A1s does this.
This is new… Is it a belt issue? New Slicer? I am using bambu studio 2.0.3.54
Thanks!

Curious.
If it is a slicer “feature”, it should already show as a first layer gap in the preview.
But it does remind me of a recent post where an X1 was modified with plate guidance clamps at the end of the heat bed.
They were a tiny bit too high and caused the print head to lift off during first layer printing when the Lidar collided with the clamp, resulting in a clear rectangle.
As the first layer is printing, is the head clear of everything? Is there a feature on/very near the printer of identical dimensions? Could anything interfere with the z-axis directly or indirectly (like PTFE’s being caught)?
Further questions which may help troubleshooting relate to wether the defect is model or build plate location specific.

Thanks so much!. No obstructions I know of. My other 6 A1s do not do this. And this printer seems to do it all the time… I will try moving it around a little. The back wallmounted AMS may be causing this… that is a possibility. It does not show in the model slice nor do the other printers do this. Thanks for any ideas!
Wish I could have afforded 7 carbons lol.
Is the pattern consistently positioned in relation to the build plate, or does it occur at different areas?
And have we confirmed that nothing is amiss with the first layer appearance in the preview?
Only in that one corner. And I turned it the rectangular model to see if that changed anything. And it still did it… That is why it is so strange
Sorry I do think it maybe a belt? but X and Y? the broken L seems to line up with those axis perfectly
