Does flow dynamics matter when printing with no speed change

If I’m printing in vase mode with no speed change does flow dynamics have any effect at all?

I’m trying a new filament and changing settings every print and was wondering if I had to redo flow dynamics.

If you only have large round contours, then probably not. Maybe for the base? You can also reduce acceleration values, then even sharp corners should not be too bad.

You’re right, if printing speed doesn’t change at all (e.g., Vase mode on large round objects), you’re going to have no flow ratio sudden change, so no PA/flow dynamics would be required. But, the bottom surface is still printed with speed changes.

Thanks guys. Well I’m going to do a flow dynamics calibration again anyway cause I can’t seem to solve bubbles in translucent PETG and I think I’ve tried everything. Homogeneous tiny bubbles that look all the same and are scattered across are totally fine, but there are these larger bubbles that I don’t get with translucent PLA of another brand I’m using. I dried the filament at 60 degrees for 12 hours, I did the calibrations, I printed a temp tower and I even tried to print the model I’m printing at different temps and speeds and increased the flow ratio but no. I reduced the fan to %10, I increased it to %80 but nothing works. So I’ll go back and do the flow dynamics again lol.

If you’re getting bubbles, that’s a sign of either having too hot of a nozzle temperature, or your filament being dry. FYI, you should be drying at 65° at minimum 12 hours, I don’t think 60° at 12 hours is going to cut it in my opinion.
