Does P6-GF need drying immediately after opening package?

I have a spool of P6-GF (still shrink wrapped in its original package) that I want to use for a print.

Question: I’m ready to make a print using P6-GF. I have a spool still in its shrink wrapped package. Do I need to dry it prior to first use?

I would assume that the filament was dried before shrink wrapping it, so additional drying immediately after opening it wouldn’t be needed. But I could be wrong.

Aside:After making my initial print(s), I assume I WILL need to dry the filament. According to ABS GF / PA6 GF Glass Fiber Filament Usage Guide | Bambu Lab Wiki , I can use the heated bed of my P1S to dry the filament (90 - 100 °C, 12h) and my AMS-Pro to hold the filament while printing. Any words of wisdom that are NOT covered in the linked Wiki?

You should pretty much ALWAYS dry filament out of the box, and always assume that it isn’t dried before it is sent to you. Especially with filaments like that.
