So I’m referring to the light bar right under the print bed. I think its officially called the “status indicator” and it shows print progress by progressively illuminating over the course of the print.
When the print finishes, it starts to pulsate as a way of letting you know the print is done.
But it never stops pulsating. Is there a way to make it stop? Is there some condition/action its waiting for me to do to tell it to stop?
(My old printer’s chamber light would pulsate at the end of a print, but it would stop doing that as soon as you clicked a menu button telling it that you’ve removed the print.)
I would love on option to have it only on while printing or if stopped by an error. If I look up and there is no light I would know the print is finished. I currently have mine off completely as I cant stand the light on 24/7.
I don’t mind the light bar in general. I just want it to stop pulsating after there’s a reasonable expectation that I’ve attended to the printer once its done printing. You know, by be tapping the “print finished” notification on the screen, the printer detecting a door open/close, some modest timeout, or a combination of the above.
My last printer (different brand) had the whole chamber light pulsate when a print was finished. But the moment you clicked a “Print Removed” message on the UI, it stopped doing that.
