Wasn’t the last time they had them on sale just before they ditched either PLA-TOUGH or regular PETG?
If I was to guess it would be that they are replacing PLA BASIC with a cheaper manufacturer (not cheaper for us, for them) and all of the colors will be different. Rumors are they already did this with black and white if you want a preview of what the quality will be like.
I’m not really sure considering how the A1 seems to just come with filament swatches now.
Personally I found it more than a little offensive they had the gall to charge for swatches to begin with. If I wanted a sample of paint I could get swatches for free or even a literal usable sample-sized amount of paint that’s cheaper than a full can and so getting charged just for sad flat pieces of landfill waste was more than a little absurd.
I guess I got into 3D printing where I missed the PLA-Tough, but I really wish they (bambu) would release some new PLA that is a little stronger and more heat-resistant. I REALLY wanted to like PETG, but it’s too shiny for my taste, takes twice as long to print as PLA, and the finish is not nearly as nice. PLA-CF costs twice as much.
I noticed my latest three packs of black PLA Basic came in a different packaging. Still called Basic though.

That is true for individual swatches but dare you want the full set then they will charge a ridiculous amount 
(that is at least here in Europe)
Actually I was super happy that Bambu makes swatches available at all. I asked a few filament manufacturers to do the same but they all declined.
I’m at the point that unless there is some actual reason to use Bambu filament, other than the RFID, I have used 4-5 different vendors from Amazon that work just fine. There are some US companies (I’m US Based) that make filament that costs more, but may be better, or could be worse. When I start a job run though, I pick one brand for the entire run so colors match the first to last part.
The downside? I have to make my own swatches with the vendor and color printed on them. If it saves me $2-$15 a spool its well worth it.
