That idea is good, but it’s not applicable in my case. Besides printing and creating 3D models, I’m not very active online. I don’t have social media or a YouTube account. For a GoFundMe or similar campaign to succeed, it needs to be well-promoted to even become visible, and unfortunately, I don’t have the means for that. A few years ago, I tried to start a campaign to raise donations to buy a 3D printer for the high school I attended. Other than a few page views, I didn’t achieve anything. The school is in the same city as this organization and also receives little support from the state or the city. I’m giving it my all, but I’m not able to make a real impact.
