Ive noticed there are many models that get thousands of downloads. for instance, minecraft key chains. but althogh mine is fairly close to the top of the search i dont get any, any ideas as to where im going wrong.

Congratulations on publishing your model! To increase downloads, consider redesigning it so that it doesnât require glue. Additionally, using a spell checker for the description is highly recommended.

Just taking a quick look at your model listing I see a few areas you can improve for better visibility and conversion to downloads:
- Print profile - Currently only shows A1 as supported, see if you can rework the profile to support more printers since a lot of users will print using Handy or arenât interested modifying the profile in Bambu Studio.
- Keyword tags - Try to pick 5-10 popular search terms that match your model, the popular searches page is useful for this. For example âminecraftâ, âkeychainâ, âarticulatedâ, âfidgetâ and âamsâ can all apply to your model and are popular search terms.
- Cover photo - Adding text to your cover images can increase the number of users who click on your model, less is more but you want to highlight one or two eye-catching features if possible. It can also be worthwhile to create 3:4 covers for mobile since they have better visibility in the Handy app.

Thanks for the advice, realy appreciate it. when i uploaded it, all printers were ticked but the final upload is only showing A1 and i cant figure out why.
A brief history.
In the early days when you published a print profile it would only cross support other printers that were the same size or larger.
- A1 mini = all printers
- A1 = just the A1
- P series = A1, P & X series
- X series = A1, P & X series
The A1 has the largest foot print of all printers excluding the now available H2D, the P & X series have an unprintable section in the front left.
I kept pushing BL to think about the problem with a better solution.
If you imagine adding a print envelope cube over the model on the build plate, to encompass the width, depth and height, you now change the algorithm to see âdoes the print envelope fit on the other printers?â
They finally made this change. It meant that if you created a cubed of 50cm in all dimensions, it can also be printed on the smallest print the A1 mini as well as all other printers.
When they made this change they excluded a common scenario and decided informing anyone would be ignored.
When you print using the option of âprint-by-objectâ, it does greatly complicate things.
Bed-slingers, A1 mini & A1 have a maximum print height of the x-axis arm, the P, X & H2D (now) have the capability of printing much taller models.
Because this complicates things, they chose not to extend the algorithm to determine if things are still printable.
Worse, they never tell you, meaning you may never notice or it may take some time.
The only current solution is to create multiple variants targeted at the A1 mini and the P series, this will mean the A1 mini is covered and all other printers are covered by the P series profile.
I would recommend unticking all the other printers when uploading.
When you upload the A1 mini specific profile, untick all others.
When you upload the P series profile, untick the A1 mini.
