Do i get this right. the “Track Switch Module” will enable me to have for example 2 AMS and i could use those with the left and right nozzle without the need to switch the PTFE Tube manually from left to right or vice versa?
It certainly looks that way.
I skimmed the patent linked above and it makes it sound like you could have 4 (or more) AMS connected to the track switching device, and the track switching device connects to the PTFE ports on the back of the printer.
I’ll need to read it more thoroughly, but my first take was these devices may (?) allow you to daisy chain them if you have more sources than inputs on the device allows for. That would be neat, but complex.
The filament “tracks” would start to become like managing a busy train yard and ensuring no two trains are trying to cross over each other at the same time to reach a certain input.
