Maybe there isn’t enough room on the printer screen but it would be awesome to see how much time has passed along with time remaining on Handy, Studio, and the printer itself
This has been talked about a lot in a much older, much longer thread worth visiting.
Here you will find my guess which turns out to be true.
If you are on a Windows machine, the time the print will finish only displays if your screen is sacked greater than 100%.
I haven’t used a Windows machine in a while since my last one broke and now I am Mac only, but, reading some responses p, I found a pattern.
Future thoughts should be added to that post rather than this one to keep everything on the same place.
Thanks for taking the time to reply, but i think you misunderstood what i was asking. I am asking for elapsed time. As in, how long has the printer been printing? for example - If i am printing a 3 hour print and 30 min has gone by, the information displayed shows -2h30min, not how much time has passed ie. 30min. Sometimes i like to know how long I’ve been printing something, and i don’t have print times memorized for everything i print. Hopefully that clears it up.
I did.
It does.
Good luck to you.
I can see there are times when this might be useful, just keep in mind it took a few years to get the finish time.
Thank you! Very useful. I mean, in my opinion, what i am asking for should already exist, and should have before a physical end time. My Ender 3’s show elapsed time - which is why I’m surprised the Bambu’s don’t. If it’s 8pm and the printer says 1hr30min remaining, that’s 9:30pm finish - pretty simple. Having the physical finish time is just a nice cherry on top because it’s redundant information. If i don’t note exactly when i started a print, or memorize estimated print time then it’s impossible to know how much time has elapsed.
