Hello, I just got an H2S, it prints very nicely but I have a slightly worrying sound. When I use the built in display to move the tool head to change nozzle for example, the PSU fan starts spinning and this cracking sound appears too.
That seems like an odd phenomena, are you sure it’s the PSU fan? I wouldn’t think short moves like that would be enough to trip it into aggressively cooling.
Sorry I don’t have a H2 to test, maybe someone else can try to replicate it.
Well I’ve manually turned on/off all other fans so unless there’s another fan yes. Could it be the same problem as here ? Idle noise new H2S - #3 by Kiwi
I had a sound in this area too, so i checked tensioner from the back, the belt was scratching at the rollers edge, i pulled the belt down a bit when i moved the head. The sound was gone. So i put a bit oil at the rollers edge, the sound stayed away for some hours. When it came again i losened the tensioner and put slim washers under it to have another angle on the roller. Never had a sound since this, about 600 hours now.
Sorry for my bad english
Was during movement, check from the back side, there you can see the tensioner, when the belt is in the upper position on the tensioner roller put it down with the finger from inside the printer when moving the head by hand then you will see if the sound disapears. If yes you can do my solution.
