I’ve been experimenting with ASA Aero and believe I’ve tried most of the available settings. I’ve used their default profile, which creates a shell-only print, as well as more comprehensive profiles capable of solid infills. The filament was dried for three days (3x24 hours) before use.
For testing, I printed a 3DBenchy. While the result is acceptable, it’s only “just okay.” The first layer isn’t perfect, and the printer sprays bits of filament throughout the chamber. That said, the model itself is printed with flawless detail, even on overhangs.
My question is: Is it possible to eliminate this filament “spitting” throughout the chamber? By the time the model is finished, it looks like a bomb went off inside the printer.
