If there was a change notification, I must have missed it.
Setting it back to Off is the right thing to do. Even if users have enabled notifications before the latest change, BL cannot assume users want the new notification options.
I hope this latest change is responding to the problem of designers not getting some comments on their models from users, as described in the following thread.
