Empty Spools

Hi all,
A1 & AMS Lite user here. I have access to empty ASA filament spools at a deep discount ;-). I’m hopeful that I could load these spools with Bambu PLA refills and use them with my AMS Lite. I am not printing with ASA as I know that it is not compatible with my setup but would the empty ASA spools work?

All Bambu plastic spools are the same size, so no problems there.

For clarity, the RFID tag is on the cardboard insert included in the refill, not the plastic spool.
