End of cylindrical part not printing

Hello all,

I’m trying to print a recorder that I designed, but the top end of the main body is getting cut off or omitted from the print. The end shows up translucent in the Preview tab of Bambu Studio (see images). I printed one out before I noticed the issue in BS and the print just stopped/completed before reaching the part circled.

I searched around, but I can’t find an explanation as to why a part would be translucent.

I should note that I’m printing this on an H2D and the build space is big enough to accommodate the model. Also, the part exhibits the same behavior no matter how I orient it.

it’s either too thin (most likely) or you’re passing the max z height

edit/ you can try switching to arachne, and it might print, however it will still be too thin and easy to break

I think it’s too thin… I measured it and it’s just a hair under 0.4mm which is the size of my nozzle.
