Hey everyone, I recently attempted to print a “HRCv3” from makerworld.
Printer: X1C, with AMS, printing with two colors of overture PETG.
I started it last night and woke up to a toolhead fell off notification.
So when I went to check on the printer I saw the poop chute clogged to all ■■■■. The supports were grtting stringy half way through.
A note: I just noticed the makerworld post said no supports were needed but bambu labs was suggesting supports so I turned them on, and hadnt read that the print didnt need supportd.
But the WEIRDEST THING is about half way through the print it seems to have completely shifted on the horizontal plane. Ive never seen this - ever. In my experience or online
PS - I know overture petg has a bad reputation but ive had great results after learning how to completely calibrate individual filaments and not usiny presets.
Any idea why this would happen?

Suspect print head has hit something and been knocked, so that it’s now offset. (Won’t damage printer, it just slipped on the toothed belt and skipped over some teeth, when it re-centers for next print, everything will be OK again)
Suggest not using rectilinear infill, as that happens with that sometimes.

By any chance do you have any mods installed? Like a light bar at the front of the chamber or something to adjust the PTFE angle going in to the print head? I’m just asking because we’ve seen those cause the print head to lose position in the past.
is it perspective or is the print head actually looking crooked?
Ok thanks that was my suspicion! I was using gyroid infill 
Yes I have the pandalux light installed and i disabled the side light. Although ive moved the head around and its never interfered.
I also added ptfe clips (just two) to keep the ptfe knocking the glass (i just replaced the ptfe tube as the original one was wearing out where it feeds into the toolhead assembly.
Sometimes if the print quality is too bad (and it looks weird in your photo) the filament can blob, and the print head can hit the blob and get obstructed that way.
I didnt reattach it before taking photos so its still in the “tool head knocked off status”
The print quality is actually great (if you look at the lower 25% of the print) im guessing the poop chute may have been clogging and thats what led to the front cover popping off….im going to try it again today and see what happens - but without supports like the designer suggested.
