Error: connection actively refused

  • Detailed description of the problem
    When testing the wifi network connection from my bambu studio to my printer I get “… connection actively refused…”
  • Printer model used
    P1S

I got my ip number from the printer display. I can ping that number. When I hit the test button next to the IP field I get the error message “… connection actively refused…”. My connection has worked fine for some time until I changed the IP. I googled “Bambu connection actively refused error” and I searched here with that phrase but got no results anywhere. I had just updated my firmware to the latest (9/18/24).

I don’t know if this is related but when I tried printing one of the built-in sample gcode files, “scraper handle”, I get a white bar with the AMS number and below that it switches from saying Paused and Printing. This cycles forever. Maybe I should put this in a different forum post?

Found the problem. I didn’t have the printer type as bambu lab. With bambu lab no ip number is needed.
