I think it got worse. Now I’m testing over and over with no real solution. I sliced a file on every printer profile and it was fine locally, but I could not upload a single one.
They say they regenerate slicing with more conservative parameters during upload but will not share what those parameters are and are calling it platform security.
At this point it feels like brute force trial and error just to get something to pass.

I don’t know what exact parameters your upload check is using now, but I have sliced my manifold file and tested it on every Bambu printer profile with nearly 10mm of clearance on all sides of the plate, prime tower, object, and excluded areas, and my model still will not upload. The site keeps rejecting it.
I am beyond frustrated at this point. Can someone please explain or post the actual guidelines instead of just saying it is more “sensitive”? Printers do not work off feelings, last I checked. They work off raw numbers.

I finally got it after testing the prime tower without the custom parameters, then moving it to where it fit, and then changing it back. This is very stupid.
The entire point of the profile is so I can give people a better way to print it. My models take up a specific space and position to maximize the printer, etc., but that does not work when you put a hard limit on the prime tower during upload validation.
What is the point of having adjustable prime tower parameters if they are just going to be overridden or rejected? Why not just control all the profiles yourselves if creators apparently cannot be trusted to configure them properly? This makes no sense.

The core problem still remains. The explanation provided does not include any actual technical parameters or measurable guidelines that creators can follow.
Saying that the system regenerates slicing with more conservative prime tower and boundary parameters does not give us anything concrete to replicate. What are those conservative parameters? What margin is being enforced? What minimum clearance is required between the prime tower and other objects or plate boundaries during upload validation?
Right now this feels like a guessing game. A file can slice successfully in the latest Bambu Studio and still fail upload validation with no quantifiable criteria provided. That makes it extremely difficult to design profiles intentionally, especially when layout and positioning are critical to maximizing plate usage.
If there are specific limits such as a minimum wipe tower distance, bounding box margin, or plate edge buffer enforced during validation, could you please provide those exact values? That would allow creators to design within defined constraints instead of relying on trial and error.

This is exactly the kind of response that makes this more frustrating.
If you cannot share the validation parameters, then what are creators supposed to design around? I am not asking for proprietary code. I am asking for a measurable limit. A clearance number. A buffer. Something concrete.
We are talking about wipe tower spacing, not sensitive data. Calling it a security issue does not land.
Right now it feels like we are expected to guess until it passes. I solved mine through brute force testing. That should not be the solution.
If there are no fixed parameters because it is dynamic, then just say that. I would respect that a lot more than framing it as security.
