This is a really random question, but I am curious for some opinions on this. Do you ever feel weird sharing a model you made to Makerworld, or even on other platforms?
A better example: If I design a product for a significant other, and want it to feel special to them, would I post it to Makerworld?
I am in a dilemma similar to this, I am making someone a little object, and it is kind of a special thing for them. I think it would be great to post it and give it to the makers who may need something similar to it, but it also feels like making my model less special. If that makes sense?

Everything you print on YOUR 3d printer is a unique one of a kind item. Even if you print 2, they are each unique. Lots of examples in the world of things that are individually unique, just like people.
Nobody is making you upload your designs dude. There’s nothing wrong with just keeping it to yourself.
There is no ethical consideration here whatsoever.
There may be a philosophical discussion about what makes an item special/unique/whatever, but there’s nothing new that can be added to this topic, it was settled ages ago.
Over the years I have created some rather spectacular Valentine’s Day cards. I have thought about creating mass produced versions. But each was made with a certain individual in mind and mass producing them would make the cards less special.

To play devils advocate, what if there was another person just like you who needed an easy design to print for their significant other? That is where I get stuck.
