Every second print causes an MQTT error

Hello.

I have an A1 printer and an AMS lite. I’ve been struggling with the error in the title for some time now. I can’t seem to resolve it, and I can’t find an answer here on the forum, in the bambu wiki, or anywhere else online. However, I’ve noticed I’m not the only one with a similar problem.

The printer is always on and has Wi-Fi. I start print, it’s sent to the cloud, it downloads to the printer quite quickly, it starts, and everything is fine. After printing, I start another print, (it may even be exactly the same file) and it’s sent to the cloud. Bambu Studio switches to the Devices tab, and the assistant (HMS) displays the error HMS_0500-0500-0001-0007 on the printer and in Bambu Studio. The only way I can enable another file to print is to turn the printer off and on. I can’t preview files on the SD card even after restarting the printer (on bambu handy it works fine). And when the error occurs, I can’t turn on the camera either.

When I did the network test, two errors are failed: “test storage failed” and “test storage upgrade failed”. After restarting the printer too.

What I have already tried:

I updated the firmware twice,
I removed and installed the latest Bambu Studio,
I enabled developer mode,
I removed and reinstalled Bambu Handy,
I formatted the SD card,
I restored the printer to factory settings.

I would buy a new, reliable SD-card and try it again.

Sweet Jesus, I literally checked everything except replacing the SD card… I put in a used 8GB one and formatted it, started three times, and so far the error hasn’t occurred. I can access my file history through Bambu Studio. I ordered a new 32GB CL10 card.

The network test errors are still there, but it’s possible these two things are unrelated. I’ll print some models and let know if the problem is resolved.

I accidentally found the cause of the problem. It wasn’t a problem caused by a broken SD card.

After a short access to the files via bambu studio, the error appeared again. I analyzed step by step what I was doing and it turned out that the Bambu Handy app sends me a notification that the first print is complete. I didn’t close it on my phone, it just minimized itself. This blocked access to the printer SD card by bambu studio. I couldn’t send the file for printing and I didn’t have access to the camera and memory.

After deleting Bambu Handy for the entire weekend, the error didn’t reoccur. I reinstalled the app to test it. First attempt and when the app is open, I can’t access the SD card or send another print from bambu studio. It turns out that an undeleted notification is enough to block access, so I need close the application properly or simply not use it.
