I found this interesting. I’ve been getting the same exact points count across multiple days.
Of 9 days, 7 have repeating figures.
4 days have one figure
3 others have another figure
That’s a pretty tight grouping.
This could indicate point throttling, where an algorithm intentionally controls how often a model is seen to limit its earning potential. I certainly hope that’s not the case.
Maybe it’s just chance, but wanted to see if anyone else sees anything like this.
Mine is not that stable with reward points at the account level. Certain well established models are fairly predictable though.
I have noticed a sharp change in downloads, prints, and views on some popular models at the 4\17 MW update. Based on a drop in views from the ‘recommendations’ source, I suspect that was entirely MW tinkering with how often some models are recommended\viewed to control rewards. Not much I can do. It’s already highly visible thru browsing and search but MW can highly tailor and control the ‘recommended for you’ list that they put in front of everyone now.

That would mean that the new Recommended section isn’t actually recommending the best models like a normal recommendation section, but instead just models that MW wants to, or perhaps better said they’re suppressing certain models just because people liked/downloaded them naturally.
I think they’re meddling with things far too much lately.
I haven’t posted anything new since the point system change, but 4 of the last 7 days have had the same amount of rewards from downloads. Perhaps they are trying to show more variety in the “for me” page and limiting the number of times it’s shown, but wouldn’t want to jump to a conclusion since I haven’t posted in over a week. I would say that like most sites, your model only has a few days of showing up at the towards the top of lists until newer models push it down.
Luckily some kind folks have given me boosts!
Limits ? could it be that on those days you have reached a threshold where models have reached there potential for earning ? hence at times filling a void for less popular models to be seen in recommended
