I have a print with multiple plates. I need to export the object on one of those plates. No matter how I try it I end up exporting all the plates (either as one STL or multiple STL.'s How do I limit the export to just the objects on only one of the plates?
Hold down control and click each of the items on the one plate you want to export. Then right click and do “Export as one STL”.
If there are a TON of items on the plate you can also switch from “Global” to “Objects” at the top of the process settings and highlight them that way. Then right click and “Export as one STL”.
I agree with @PrinterMcgee.
The only thing I would add is:
- Select the one item
- Right-click
- Choose “Export as STL”.
This makes it easier to select the specific one you wish to export.

I think there is a right-click option, “Select All” that will work also. I know “Select All” is there but I was trying to merge two objects
