Has anyone ever tried using an exterior grade clear coating to improve a models resilience outdoors.
For example, using PLA outdoors is not the most durable option for a bird feeder but has the benefit of being cheap and easier to print than some of the more exterior friendly filaments.
So, can a urethane or other exterior finish coating be applied to the finished model to improve the models durability outside?
