Extra piece of filament, ruining prints. Where it coming from?

I keep getting this tail piece of filament build up and not exactly sure where its coming from. My printer settings are 90% generic pla profile and 10% Polyterra profile and Overture profiles. My print quality varies so thats why I tend to bounce back and forth.

I run lidar but most of my filament usage is black which lidar doesnt like. Happens with a flow of .98-1.07, as some of my pla needs to be that high but i still get gaps.

I calibrate my filaments manually as 99% of the time generic pla profile massively under extrudes my filament, so im not sure how this extra piece is appearing even at .98.

It doesnt happen at the first layer, usually half way through a print (ruining it) or at the very top of the print.

Printer only has 300 hours, so I cant imagine the wiper is already needing to be changed. The nozzle is only got about 100 hours on it as it was changed prior to trying to figure out why I get constant under extrusion. Ive changed extruder gears with no solution. Bambu sent me an extruder motor and a TH board to change but 10% of my prints come out decent without these defects making me think I dont need to swap these parts out.

Additionally to messing with my flow i also get shiny streaks on my top layers. Happens with a flow at .98- 1.03 according to my last test. Not sure what to do as it doesnt seem to look like a common issue on these printers.

Can you post a picture? It is quite hard to know what you mean without one.

Sorry, post got posted but I wasnt finished writing it. Has been updated with pictures and more details.

Did you modify your gcode at all?

I havent, its happened on multiple bambu printers

Did you find a solution to this? I’m having the same problem!
