Thanks for the input, but it turned out to be a burned out extruder motor for me.
same hereā¦
changed ASA against PLA - stucked.
it sounded like wheelspin ā¦
after opening extruder - yellow wheel impossible to spin.
replacement only with hit on the back passible.
replaced it against a hardened from a aliā¦
but as replacement done - hard to spin.
but works atm.
Since a month :
- noodle crashed agains ASA part - hotend broke. a part bevor no problem.
- neveras times the noodle scraches parts - mostly in the back - but even sometimes in the front.
- courious sounds while printing - nobody knows where from.
- extruder cloged while changing from ASA to PLA. standard ?
- glued wired - troubleshoot is killing wireing.
- AMS trouble 8-9 times - broken fil, broken roll
- this āglue-ā ā ā ā -platesā after some tried and the option of getting divorced because of messing up the kitchen every 1houre because of failing prints ā¦ forced my to by PEI on Ali - this problem is solved
No 2 day without new problemsā¦ - the chamber is to low - ā ā ā ā PETG is hitting the glas - until it breakes.
At the end it would be muuuch better to by p1p and dont by trash parts around called x1c.
OR someting BEST CASE : something working even in one way - since a printer with daily troubleshoot.
Everyone doing buissines on this is done.
I have the same issue since , replaced with brand new complete hotend. Taken extruder apart as per wiki and Bambu Youtube vids. Nothing stuck in gears ect, but my first layers are failingā¦
Hi have any experience the problem where the nozzle temperature is abnormal and the extruderās light turn of immediately after you turn it on
same error first it was clogged the extruder and hotend then unclogged all and exchanged the extruder just in case and it happend again. then i checked and see that there was filament up to the top of the hot end tryed cold pull but dont get out the hexdriver now i exchanged again all extruder and hotend. and now when i try to load filament and heat up to 240 and wanted to run some cleaning filament thru now its no extruding and the extruder makes noise like clogged or trying to extrude cold. i exchanged and tryed 2 extruders nothing helps. anyone any idea ?!
i found solution the extruder gears are damaged it dont pull the filament true and stuck on half way. i fixed it now:) but thanks anyways.
How did you fix the damaged extruder gears - replaced the extruder?
Brandon,
Did you figure out a solution? Iām having the same issue with PTEG mostly. Took the extruder apart and no jams but the tension on the spring above the gears was off so fixed that and got one print thru, but now having the same issue. The tension is good and thereās no jam but itās mostly only with PTEG.
I know Iām over a year late with this question, but did filing the corner of the sensor housing work for you? Iām having the same issue on my x1c, and Iāve already replaced the sensor once without realizing the lever was catching. If filing worked for you, would you be willing to send me a pic of how much you took off? i donāt want to pay for another sensor if i donāt have to.
@Barryg41 had several posts about how the sensor can get caught and filing down the edge fixes it. I canāt find the post with the pictureā¦
What i did was file just enough on the one side that was catching. I would not take off more than needed to keep the lever/switch from moving around in its slot. So that means file a little put it all back together to see if it would work. If not, do it all over again till it works flawlessly.
Still using original parts on my extruder. Over 2500hrs!
Update: I had to file a little on the sensor housing, and I had to ream the hole on the extruder where the very tip of the lever was rubbing.
Hi Baaron. I donāt suppose you have any pictures of what / where you reamed? I replaced hot end twice and even swapped out the extruder with the āHardened Steel Extruder Unit - X1 Seriesā. I keep getting the same issues that either its clogged or canāt pull back filament. This is standard basic Bambu Lab PLA. The problem seemed to start when I added a second AMS. Getting pretty frustrated after enjoying my printer for several months and I havenāt been able to print for about 6 weeks and multiple disassembles.
Hey murfcam, i will try to remember to send a pic when i get home from work. I used either a 2 or 2.5 mm drill bit on the hole right above the extruder gears. The hole is already slightly oval shaped to allow the lever to swing in it. I didnt take off much, just slight shaved the walls a little wider.
Thank you Baaron! Donāt worry about having to take off the extruder just to take a picture. I actually think its the AMS hub that is causing it but not sure what it catching. Anyway, thank you and happy printing.
