Extruder just started clicking & causing bad prints (2 Weeks Old)

I have had my printer for a couple of weeks and was printing fine earlier today. Icame back to start a new print, and I noticed it was clicking while printing. It would be fine for outer layers that the printer would go slow on, but once it started on infill again the clicking started and basically sparce filament was coming out. I have taken apart the extruder assembly to make sure no stray filament pieces were there, the hotend isn’t clogged, but still clicking. Also, is the big yellow gear suppose to be sticky or have residue on it? I am not sure what else to do!

Also, when I first start a print, and the printer is going through it’s intial setup purging filament it starts working fine. About halfway through purging the clicking starts which causes it to purge and purge and purge. Then, when it finally starts printing, the first layer or two seems fine. But, once it starts into the infill the clicking starts happening badly, and the head keeps going back over to the poop cutter to purge and then back to printing. Hope this helps explain it.because I don’t know what to do after taking everything apart already.

Video showing the clicking I uploaded to youtube

Have you checked if all of the hot end screws are tight. That would be where I would start.

I was actually able to find the issue following the bambu wiki. But, I wasn’t able ti discover it until swapping filaments from white to red. I had taken apart everything, tightened screws, checked for stray pieces of filament. What fixed it was doing several cold pulls on the hot end. Even after poking the needle through several times where there appeared to be no clog, I started cold pulls at sub 100C. After several cold pulls with white filament, I switched to red filament and when I cold pulled with red I was able to see that it was still pulling white out of the hotend. Several cold pulls later when no white continued to come out with the red, problem solved. No more clicking.
