When filaments are loaded, the print head is in the parked position. This causes the ptfe tubes to be bent sharply, maximising the resistance feeding the filaments to the extruder. The filaments sharp end will also scrape the inside of the ptfe tube through the bend, further increasing resistance and tube wear.
Before loading the filament, move the head to the front. The ptfe tubes will be much straighter, facilitating filament loading and minimising tube wear.
