I got a new P1S this week. Very excited to add it to the lineup. I’m currently unable to get the P1S to work with the AMS.
This works fine when I connect it to the external spool but when I swap in the AMS I get the error “Failed to extrude filament”. What’s strange is that if I switch over to the external spool after this it works like a charm.
All my other printers have no issues with their AMS- could this be an issue with the filament sensor on the extruder?
adding here- I can see that the filament sensor is working because when the filament reaches the extruder the filament indicator dot turns green in the handy app on the device page.
I ran into this issue this week and I found that it was the spool and how it was wound up. try unrolling and rerolling a few turns this might do the trick.
