Hello,
I’m new to 3D printing so maybe this has an easy answer but I’ve spent a week playing around and reading every post i can find to no avail so I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I keep getting “Failed to get AMS mapping table”. Through trial and error I’ve narrowed it down to it only happening when i select certain filament colors. I have a lot of colors added to project because i have a lot of plates but i only use max of four per print so I’m not sure why I keep getting this error on certain colors.
I’ve read through A LOT of posts about this error but none of them seem to apply to what I’m running into and the troubleshooting they suggest doesn’t work, I’ve tried:
- Basic troubleshooting: Rebooting machine, unplugging/re-plugging in AMS etc.
- Erasing things of SD card, and reformatting completely.
- Reverting to previous firmware on A1/AMS.
- Uninstalling and Re-installing Bambu Studios software.
- etc…
Since its only happening on certain colors I’ve started getting around it by changing to a different filament preset when i go to print these parts, but that is annoying and I forget to do it all the time so i get part way through projects before it errors out when it tries to start the given color.
