Hello folks,
So I am a huge Fallout nerd, hence this post. I wasn’t sure where to put this for my fellow makerlab friends to see, so here we are.
I’ve been looking for a life size model of the “Lincolns Repeater” from Fallout 3. I wanted it to be an assembly style print model, along with some functions.
The main functions I was looking for was to have the trigger and internal mechanisms partially work (so trigger pull, hammer cock/react, and the lever action portion) along with the end of the barrel to have a twisting action (similar to how it is reloaded in game.
I actually attempted to pay someone on Fiverr to do this, and they partially got it right, but it needs polishing and other alterations. I am learning modeling myself, but am no where near skilled enough to do anything with what i have already.
We can discuss further here if there is any interest from anyone willing to make it, but I have some pictures of what I have model wise to give ideas to what functions I mean.

Yeah, I was the artist that created the model. That was right at the start of my career. I’m out of the game industry now though.
I mostly played the game with that rifle. I only used other weapons when I’d run low or out of ammo for it. I was part of a company they contracted with for art services. They were just prototyping the game. The only other weapon they had was the assault rifle. Later on they contracted with us again once the game was under full production, but I wasn’t as involved in that. It was a pretty cool thing to be a part of, if even just a small part.
Darn you Josh!! When I read this post my mind was instantly crafting a response that mysteriously alluded to the fact that one of the members here was the actual creator of a Fallout rifle! My thunder has never been stolen on this scale before!
Dude that is amazing!!! Now i like the hunting rifle a little more because of that hahahaha. Ive kisy always been a fan of lever action rifles, and i miss the REAL unique Fallout weapons like F3 and New Vegas had, not the generalized fancy ■■■■ F4 has lol. So yea, im still hoping to find someone that can model the repeater with those ideas i had in mind. Id also HAPPILY do an assembled print version of the hunting rifle too!!! Not enough older Fallout weapons modeled for printing online lol, especially decent multiple part models with some functions. Im just a sucker for functional model’s and i love crafting and making things
