We need an advance user option that will allow us to bypass some of the checks when we are working on our machine.
For example, if I need the machine to move the extruder so I can figure out what is going on. I might even have the hotend off, and my focus is purely on the extruder, so I don’t need to have the hotend 170 to figure out what is going on or if I need to remove something to fix it.
Also another thing for the advance user feature list is where we can control the AMS through it. Where we can tell it to feed us some filament or take it back. Right now what happens is if I have the tube off and the filament is barely sticking out. If you pull on it sometimes it triggers the AMS to just give a ton more until you push back. But by that time it might of gave you a foot of filament and there is no way to get it to take it back. Or you can run into another problem like where I had filament that had heat creep and I needed it to push just a inch of it out to cut it. But it was flush with the end of the tube. It would been great if I could’ve just press a button and it would give me a little.
There might be other things, but IMO this should be in an advance user area. Basically keep the plug and play idiot proof bit. But allow us to have some of these features somewhere in the advance area so we can work on our machine.
