Hi
I have a H2s and it would be great if the unit could identify what hot end it has installed.
Whether it be by the current cameras.
The current process looks to be recreating a new filament with the correct nozzle size and feed capabilities. This then creates a huge list to select the correct hot end size for each filament , adding to confusion.

I will second this. Seems like it’d be easy to do with RFID or NFC.
I presume you mean what nozzle has been installed.
The H2D can identify the nozzle that is mounted from the UI on the printer.
It uses the camera to read them.
It also checks if you have the correct one in place if you start a print.
Also the latest release of Bambu Studio allows you to read that remotely.
Are you telling me that the H2S is not having this feature?
Correct
I see no way of doing this.
Even a qr code etch on to the hot end
Thanks for that tip. I will look into it
