A suggestion I have is, I would like to see is that when we load a new Bambu spool and the RFID tag is being read, that the total grams can be shown on the Bambu Lab Device Tab (see Pic 01), just like the label on the outside of the actual spool. Make Indicators/Markings in the Lab Device Tab next to the A1-A4 Levels. I’ve programmed RFID tags on the automated machines, so that information should be able to be retained and stored within the RFID Tag. This would only work as long as the spool is not taken out of the AMS, because the end user can’t re-write to the RFID tag from the printer.

(1) this will give us end users an idea of how much filament is left without pulling out the spool and looking at the side.

(2) If the end user uses a 3rd party filament (no RFID tags), then allow the end user to input the total amount of filament (grams) into a setting per the AMS slots. This will rely on the end user to know how much filament is on the spool, but we’re not going for exact grams here. If the end user pulls out the spool, then he/she would have to re-enter it back in.
