Each time printing TPU on the x1C it prompts me to cold pull before doing so.
It would be great if Bambu could implement the walk-though sequence for cold pulls in the tools menu, like the H2D does. Any reason this hasn’t been implemented already?
End of line, perhaps, but there are a large number of existing Bambu customers who have X1C’s as well as other Bambu printers. It’s such a simple thing to implement, for the benefit of many thousands of users.
Because TPU is softer and more likely to clog, if the nozzle has residues of other filaments still in the nozzle, particularly filaments with a higher melting temperature.
It’s one of my favorites for strong parts like castors, gears, giant lids, rollers etc. I use from 5 walls to “all walls” on everything. Wish they’d produce some dark grays and even harder variants.
I’m in the process of trying to get one of Bambu’s TPU Feed Assist Modules (now expected 5/21/26) to use along with my AMS HT so I can use Bambu’s TPU 95A Hf Filament, the real flexable material. The TPU for AMS is better than nothing, but not real soft.
