I like the new UI on my X1C with the new software but it would get much more useful with a countdown timer to the next filament swap so that we can know when to be there if there is anything we need to do. Just hours:minutes would be fine. And it doesn’t need to be super accurate - basically just the same as the countdown to be finished.

I think that’s a really great idea. However, you’ve seen the number of posts here about time inaccuracies. I’d wager that this has to do with the fact that Bambu has done little to enhance the core algorithm that this was originally based on, Cura or Prusa Slicer, and as such, it never got the love it needs. That being said, this is more a quality of life enhancement that we all know Bambu won’t even acknowledge other than “We’ll pass this on to engineering as a suggestion” which is a polite way of them blowing us off.
You’ll likely find more receptive audience from the folks over at Orca who as fellow 3D enthusiasts, generally take more pride in the quality of life enhancements to the slicer than Bambu ever will. Then all one can hope is that Bambu will copy it back into their code in a future release, much like it took them over a year to include the calibration features and 3D navigation cube that Orca had for almost 18 months.

Read the solution suggestion halfway down, rather the first part which was an explanation as to why a feature request was unlikely to occur.
I really like this, and I would extra love it if the same notification type system were set up to do approx countdowns to gcode pauses too.
