I am new to BL ecosystem. I am away from my PC and printer most part of the day and I have only few hour to design and start a print. If need to print something from Makersworld, instead of spending that limited time searching a model while at home, I try to choose one using the handy app during my idle times.
I like the the way MakersWorld structured. Being able to see the approximate time and filament need to print the model/profile is great. But profile info chart does not show the dimensions. Unfortunately majority of the uploader do not mention the dimensions in their description either. The only way i can see them is downloading it to Bambu Studio and measuring it. Which means i have to go back home re-search and download model… Which drains the limited time i have.
It would be great if BL adds an auto-calculated dimensions in to the info charts. Only projected L/W/H dimensions will be enough. This will allow us to decide if it is the right size for our needs or how many (different) models we can fit on a plate. Rescaling does not work well especially with functional parts.
If BL can not implement this, I suggest/request/beg from uploaders to add these manually to their descriptions.
