The front page must show a proper interface for “following” list that shows the latest of what was published by each creator.
Let’s say User “Adam” is following “Levanter”, “3DBoy” and “Pink3D”.
Their front-page should show a row that contains the latest x models (e.g. 3 models) of each creator (max 5. creators).
These models can be stacked on each other in a card-styled design.
Another row above it should show the models directly with something along the lines: “Catch up with your designers” and include some latest models of the designers that didn’t catch up to the trend and may need some support from their followers.
I’ve seen accounts with over 5K followers. Yet, their models gain a few downloads on average. I understand that some models are not suitable, and some users may not be online, and some users may not have enough filament, but the interaction is completely dead sometimes to the point you wonder how does the concept of following work behind the scenes.
The only way for a model to catch up is to mass publish it into social media or enter a contest FIRST, or get picked up on the front page (which is how many models gain attraction).
