Feature Request: Pinned Models

Hey everyone,

I’m proposing MakerWorld add the ability to pin models on our upload pages, much like the showcase models feature on user cards. It’d let creators highlight their favorite works right at the top of their page. This would help first-time visitors see the best stuff right away and let designers better manage their portfolios.

We could simply use the existing interface from the showcase model card for choosing which models to pin. Allowing a few pinned models (like 3-5) could be a good start.

I think it’s a straightforward addition that could make navigating profiles a lot smoother and more engaging. What do you all think?

I agree it would be super nice. And if we could pin collections as well that would be awesome. Because an infinite scroll over 50+ models library already starts to be not so convenient. So when you have a library with 300+, the infinite scroll is just not the proper way the display them. We need categories! :slight_smile:

I know this is OT, but, I still want a content editable area at the top of public collections.

Plus, the ability to sort and pin designs in the collection.

These two things would make collections far more promotable and useful.
