I would like to request an option to manually define the IP of the device such that Bambu Studio does not need to ‘see’ the device on the same subnet. Or barring this, correctly implement the binding by access code for X1 Carbon and X1 Engineering variants in LAN Only mode which does not work as promised.
When selecting a printer for prototyping, this is a large blocker for most companies who have network security implementations that prevent using the host and client on the same subnet due to assigning VLANs for certain device classes, or other security settings that prevent broadcasted/multicast traffic.
