Feature suggestion: Turn toolhead camera LED on during purging/loading filament

I’m not sure where to post this, since it’s not an issue and doesn’t warrant a support ticket.

Often when I am changing filament types or just loading a black/dark filament from the AMS/Aux nozzle, I can’t easily see the purge due to the shadow cast by the toolhead. Also the translucent upper ‘toilet bowl’ of the poop shoot would be great if it was illuminated.

I’d like it if the X2D toolhead Camera LED was illuminated during loading/purging so we can easily see the filament extruding without opening the door and squinting into the darkness. Lol.

I presume that you would want this only for manual filament loading, and for that it might be useful. Not sure if it will cast enough light on bot nozzles though.

But definitely an easy to implement.

@SupportAssistant is this an interesting feature for future firmware updates on the P, X and H series?
