Filament change without AMS without Prime Tower

Hello All,

I know I can insert Pause at layer, and also change filament at layer, and that works fine.
But sometimes I want to change the filament (by hand, without AMS) inside one layer, so I want to rely on the printer doing a pause at the needed filament change.

Until now, i used the method to add “M400 U1” to “Filament End G-code” part on the Advanced tab of the filament itself. This creates a pause when the filament needs to be changed.

However, this does not work, if the Prime Tower is switched off. (Unfortunately I don’t have space for that in one of the prints)

Is there a solution?

Thank You!

Hello,
I also used the “M400 U1” method and had problems with blobs when resuming printing. While searching, I found this gcode on Github. : bambu/bambu_lab_a1_mini_change_filament_no_ams.gcode at main · Dennis-Q/bambu · GitHub?

It consumes a little more filament, but no more blobs. Changing filament has become very simple.
