Hi all,
At the end of a filament flow dynamic calibration, it will give K factor for each filament, next it will tell you value has been saved to the printer.
Why when you look at filament parameters, there is no value in the K factor ? ![]()
I am pretty sur it’s working, because the next print result was clearly better, why no value there ?
I also notice this. Glad you mentioned it
Maybe because the can be more than one value for a filament (for left and right nozzle). You should see the calibration results when you click the corresponding button at the end of the calibration page.
If you select it at PA profile, it should show up.
Sorry for the German screenshots, but I think you see what I mean.
I can select them on the printer and on Bambu Studio.
The H2C (and maybe other H2 as well) has a functionality of matching the nozzle type and filament to a stored PA profile. Maybe that is why you still see a difference even if you did not select anything.
I think in my first try with the H2D I had to select it at the printer about half a year ago. But meanwhile I can select it in Bambu Studio as well.
But be aware the availability of that selection will be Material specific, Extruder side specific and maybe nozzle type specific. Even if I have measured the same k value regardless of SF or HF nozzles. But it is stored separately.
Yes very interesting, thank you user_1083141284
