I feel you on this, i just responded in another thread you had about support response. The filament sensor can be removed and cleaned, theres a reddit thread on it and some youtube videos about how to remove. Sometimes a tiny piece falls in and it needs to be tapped out.

says you changed the hotend? If you manually set the temp on the hotend to say 240, does filament ooze? Probably not, if no filament is present, sounds like a bad sensor?
