Thanks I always wondered about that.

I’m going to try a few different methods of drying filament.

A toaster oven probably isn’t a great option to use as most didn’t have a low enough temperature setting and the actual temperature control isn’t very good. There is a high likelihood that you might melt your filament using them.

Often people will use food dehydrators but specific filament driers are pretty cheap and plentiful.

Air fryer maybe - its designed to let moist air out [good for removing moisture] but you must verify with a thermometer how well your specific one does holding very low temp - I’d guess most do not do it well at all. You do not want to melt your spool or filament. A safety cautious person would also now never use that device for food prep again.
