Filament poo when unboxing

I have just purchased a new P2S directly from Bambu. During the unboxing and when starting the calibration the bed went up and I saw a yellow filament poo at the bottom. Is this a reused printer? A returned one?

Welcome.

There is a good chance that the unit has been returned and resold.

There is a better chance that they had to do maintenance on the unit before it was shipped out and were not careful cleaning up.

Or…It’s just from QC.

If i recall correctly if you buy a nozzle from bambu it also has leftover filament in it.

I also think they test some if not all before shipping.

Snapmaker say they are testing every single U1 they will ship.

I had an identical poo in my new p2s. I don’t think it’s a return.

After 2 months using it I have to say it’s been long forgotten  The printer works perfectly and delivers superb quality with minimum effort/adjustments.
