Filament profiles for X2D missing

When will filament profiles for other vendors be available on the X2D like they are on my A1 and P1P? All I have are Bambu and generic currently.

They still aren’t available for the H2C (their flagship printer) either if that helps lol.

My understanding is they have to be certified by Bambu to be on the official “good to go list”.

Best bet for the time being is calibrate your own filament or hope that the company you use has a .3mf with settings you can use already for the X2D.

if theyre not in this list, select generic of the material type, hit save, and rename it. Add the params from the mfr.

I’ve become fed up waiting for this too. Bambu filaments are made by other companies and heavily marked up.

I put all my filaments into AI and it spat out the recommended profiles to use and justifications as to why. For some it chose generic, for some it chose Bambu and for filaments with additives like glow etc it looked up the sds for particle sizes and chose whatever profile matched best.

It also looked up nozzle/chamber/bed temps and additional setting like retraction speed, z hop type, fan speeds, filament density and flow rate. It gave k values, but I recommend manually calibrating them.

It put it all i to a pdf so I could manually create filaments.

Hope this helps. It’s a tedious task, but still much easier than it used to be.
