I been ordering Bamboo filaments for a while and im also getting filament AMS overloaded what can we do ? Refund?
I asked CHAT GPT and it said that a LOT of people are compalining in the last 2 weeks must be a bad batch of filaments from Bambu labs never had this isseu before .
What you’re seeing is the AMS doing a retract/re-feed cycle. The print head parks to the side, the filament gets pulled back toward the AMS, then it gets pushed forward again. The AMS does this when it thinks there is too much feeding resistance or when it is trying to recover from a filament-feed problem. If this is happening dozens of times during a normal print, that is not normal behavior.
In fact, just this week an H2D owner reported that after updating to firmware 01.04.00.00, the printer started reporting “Feed Resistance Too High”, repeatedly pulling the filament back and pushing it forward again, sometimes every few minutes. They downgraded to 01.03.00.00 and the problem disappeared.
There are also multiple X1C owners reporting AMS problems after firmware 01.12.00.00. Several said reverting to 01.11.02.00 immediately restored normal AMS operation
Well then, if Chat GPT said it, it MUST be true!
